  9.   May none of you have to worry about
  10. a flat tire!  But if you do have one,
  11. it's  best if we look  at what has to
  12. be done.  First, make sure you have a
  13. good  spare tire.  Second,  make sure
  14. you have a jack and lug nut wrench in
  15. your  car.  Check  wherever your jack
  16. is stored for  instructions on  where
  17. to place the jack.  Usually  there is
  18. a sticker posted somewhere  near  the
  19. jack  storage.  Find  it.   You  will
  20. need to  know where  the jack goes to
  21. pick up your car.   Try  it  out  now

  24. while you're not  panicky.  Check  to
  25. see if you can  get  the  wheel  nuts
  26. loose.  This is  important . . . some
  27. shops put these  on with air wrenches
  28. and are nearly  impossible to loosen. 
  29. If you can't loosen them, get someone
  30. with a larger  wrench  to loosen them
  31. and pull them back up  snug.  If  you
  32. are out in the middle of  nowhere  it
  33. is a bad time to look for  help.  Now
  34. place your jack in the  proper  place
  35. and jack up the  car  enough to  lift
  36. the wheel off the ground.
